Water pollution
Water is life,
because there aren’t any living organisms which can live without water. There
are countries where there isn't drinking water, so people die because of
thirst. Armenia has many resources of water, but we don't use it wisely and
efficiently. Getar flows in Yerevan, which is a stream of river Hrazdan. Getar
is very polluted, and it is very much like a dump, because it's full of plastic
bottles, polyethylene bags and other types of garbage. Besides garbage, water
can be polluted by diseases, bacteria and so on. There were many incidents,
that people were poisoned because of polluted water. In many villages authority
doesn't pay attention to water pollution, and there are many places, where
there isn't even drinking water.So, I think that it is time to solve the
problem of water pollution because the world needs clean water.

How do we detect water pollution?
Water pollution
is detected in laboratories, where small samples of water are analyzed for
different contaminants. Living organisms such as fish can also be used for the
detection of water pollution. Changes in their behavior or growth show us, that
the water they live in is polluted. Specific properties of these organisms can
give information on the sort of pollution in their environment. Laboratories
also use computer models to determine what dangers there can be in certain
waters. They import the data they own on the water into the computer, and the
computer then determines if the water has any impurities.
Ինչպես ենք մենք հայտնաբերում ջրի աղտոտումը
Ջրի աղտոտումը հայտնաբերվում է լաբորատորիաներում, որտեղ հետազոտվում են ջրի փոքր նմուշները, տարբեր աղտոտիչների համար: Կենդանի օրգանիզմները ինչպես ձկները, կարող են օգտագործվել ջրի աղտոտումը հայտնաբերելու համար: Նրանց վարքագիծը կամ աճը ցույց են տալիս մեզ, որ այն ջուրը, որտեղ նրանք ապրում են աղտոտված է: Այս օրգանիզմներին բնորոշ հատկությունները կարող են տալ ինֆորմացիա աղտոտման միջավայրի և տեսակի մասին: Լաբորատորիաները հաճախ օգտագործում են համակարգչային մոդելներ, որպեսզի որոշեն, որքան վտանգավոր է ջրի աղտոտվածության մակարդակը: Համակարգչի մեջ նրանք մուտքագրում են ջրի տվյալներ, և համակարգիչը հայտնաբերում է, արդյոք ջուրը ունի որոշակի խառնուրդներ:
