Our educational complex continues to live in its
active, busy and attractive life. Despite our ordinary lessons we have an
opportunity to participate in seminars and debates to increase our financial
literacy. Today we had our third lesson about credits. Shondra from the USA
explained us the major things about financial companies, credits, and credit
and debit cards. The lecture started with ice breaker question; “Which are the
three words that describe you”. I like this method of lecture, it’s friendly and
sociable and it helps us to be involved in class. So students started to answer
that question and we begun our lecture. While describing the topic Shondra
asked us review-questions from our previous lesson, then we talk about the topic.
After the lecture we played funny games.
For me (as future economist) the lecture was really
interesting. It is a great chance to receive indispensable knowledge about my
profession and of course it is an opportunity to have English language speaking
practice. It is very nice to communicate with people from around the world,
share with them your ideas, your culture and your way of thinking; it is a chance
to discover their national character and them like individuals. So I am looking
forward to our next lesson.
